This message is to our Engage Newark family to specifically remind ourselves of our duty as believers in Jesus Christ who have a presence in the community of Newark. With that comes challenge and responsibility.

Due to the arrival of COVID-19 to Ohio and Governor DeWine’s recent action to try to slow the spread of the virus by eliminating gatherings of more than 100 people, Engage Newark will not be meeting in person for two Sundays: March 15 and March 22. This is not a time for fear, but a time for faith.  This is not a time for nonsensical hysteria, but a time for wisdom.

Please be safe as you engage with people, but do not lose yourself to fear. Check on your neighbors, friends and the elderly. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to reach out to let us know of your need.
