Just when all feels lost and there is nowhere to turn, that is the place and time that we see God come in and work. In today’s story of Elisha we see a worker doing his best, however, calamity strikes him and God, through Elisha, forgives the man’s debt and empowers him to be useful again. Jesus has done the same for us, he may not make an axe-head swim, but he can resurrect our lives and make us useful in His will again.
